comment dong yi 45 and 46

There is a scene Picture 4 in the Technical Director where Choi Dong Yi put her tired son to bed as he sleep with a pair of new shoes, possibility the present from that Hanseong Administration Ban Gwan, as her eyes tears that she know who the identity of that said Hanseong Administration Ban Gwan
It is so cute that Prince Yeoning is showing all the signature sign of the little “Pungsan”. Sukjong must see Prince Yeoning trying to scale the wall to enter the palace & he will have guess who posterity he is & have a great bonding time with his son outside the palace
Please note
This is all I can do until my return

Maybe Prince Yeoning want to see his father decide to go to the palace…Poor child who didn’t have a father’s love even once. It must be cute that Sukjong meet his son trying to scale the palace wall. Its make me remind Dong Yi who’s trying to scale the palace wall when she’s a servant.
Like Jackie said, I guess Dong Yi would easily guess who’s the said Hanseong Administration Ban Gwan easily. Will Sukjong recognize his son?but I’m sure that he could feel a special bond with the little Pungsan.
What JHB would do to hide her son impotency? There is no secret that can be hide forever…good example is dong Yi identity. And Queen Inhyeon has change and now she knows that something amiss with JHB behavior and it was a good move to make JHB cornered by suggesting that the Crown Prince should take a wife. Hopefully Queen Inhyeon won’t die to soon.
It make me feel that it will be long week for the next episode but most importantly the future look bright for Dong Yi and her son.

Jackie thank you, I really hope you have a fun time and some relaxing too. Please try one of the great indoor Onsen, and may beef and beer pub. You probably like Korean beef, but Japanese thin slice with the grill right there and a cold one is not bad at all.
Wow! I am in heaven, possibly…I recorded 41, 42,43 and 44 thanks to all for your help along the way. you know Tudou 52.com and Joonmedia. So I am watching all of them. hey why not. Wife goes to SF with neighbor, sort of Thelma and Louise. Jackie hitting Nippon. wink wink on biznys! So don’t bother, actually I laugh alot watching this series. Just when I think it is going one way. PD has it another. I think this series is Xtra special too. I mean all over the world people are watching it, even in Pakistan. Bless you and stay dry.
hanoi is right, lay off the king! After all besides me, he is always the last to be let in on anything. No body ever goes to the King first with any thing, ‘cept once and he was away on a secret inspection. Did you like the way the Hand signs was solved after 42 episodes, it should have been the high high point and for me it was. You really think they will go with the extra innings or up to 50. Any solid confirmation?
Thanks again Jackie and to all that write in thank you.
Sayak is death by poison was the capital punishment reserved for high-ranking officials or members of the royal family. During the Joseon Dynasty death sentence was carried out by hanging, decapitation, and poison, among other means, but royal family members and noblemen were spared hanging and decapitation to keep their bodies intact. Those sentenced to death by poison were first banished to remote places and then executed there. The execution process included the accused dressed in clean garb bowing four times toward the direction of the palace to pay his last respect to the king and drinking the poison. An executioner and several assistants attended the execution to make sure that the poison has been administered right and taken effect. Sometimes they even had to force-feed the poison to a resisting prisoner or lock a prisoner in a heated room to facilitate the deadly effect of the drug.
“Sayak” in Korean and literally meaning “deadly medicine,” the poison’s main ingredient is usually arsenic. It is white odourless, colourless powder and it kills by attaching to enzyme protein molecules in the body to suffocate the cells. When taken in lethal dose, arsenic induces vomiting, diarrhea, expansion of blood vessels, and falling blood pressure, which ultimately leads to the paralysis of the central nerve system. The death usually occurs within an hour or two of intake.
Scene of threwing up globs of blood, fake one of course for dramatic purpose, after drinking a bowlful of poison. Technically or medically whatever the poisonous mixture was made of, it usually took more than 30 minutes for the drug to take effect. So the scenes where prisoners spew out blood and dies immediately after they drink the poison are inaccurate. For instance, there is a record that scholar Song Shi-yeol (송시열) during King Sukjong’s reign did not die even after drinking two bowls of poisonous drink, so he had to have all his orifices in the body blocked and made to drink the poison again.
his is how i think dong yi will return to the palace: since jhb’s son (royal prince successor) is without an heir, dong yi and her son will be able to come back to the palace and yi geum will be named the crown prince.
King Sukjong lived to be in his late 80′s Dong Yi died in her early 40′s. Up until his death he stilled pined for her.
First of all, thank you Jackie, for translations and insights (and for you speed) and thank you all for your comments!
Now, can someone please explain what is Cha Chun Soo’s crime that he was sent into exile for? I mean, yes, he is a former GeumGae member, but since the king admitted that the old GeumGae was framed, it means that they were all innocent of those ancient killings. And, in regards to the new GeumGae, Chun Soo was not caught red hand in helping Gae Do Ra, like Dong Yi. He was arrested for investigations, but what is the “official” major crime that he was found guilty of to deserve banishement for?
And the last thing: what happened to Seol Hee? She and her servant were arrested along with Gae Do Ra, but after that, nothing was mentioned about them.
My thanks to anyone who can reply.
